Cousin Butch (Wes Westphal)
With over 35 years experience in the music business, Butch spent the decade between 1970-1980 as co-owner of the Charlie Boy/Smile Publishing Company in Nashville Tennessee. He co-published the #1 country hits: "Somewhere Between Love and Tomorrow" recorded by Roy Clark, "That's What Leaving's All About" recorded by Ray Price as well as other hits recorded by Charlie Pride and various other country artists.

In 1973 Butch co-published "Big City Miss Ruth Ann" recorded by the Gallery which was the #23 air play song of the year and was awarded the BMI Publishing Award.
In the early 1980's Butch returned to his home town of Milwaukee to form the band The Trend and in 1982 recorded the song "I Need A Friend" which received widespread regional airplay.
Butch nationally toured in the 80's with his cousins - The Spanic Boys, the father-son music team that appeared on Saturday Night Live, Conan O'Brien and David Letterman to promote the nationally released "Spanic Family Album".
Currently Butch enjoys his kick back duo of Cousin Butch and Junior for select engagements in Milwaukee and enjoys fishing in Northern Wisconsin!
